Description
This coffee is grown in the Cauca region of southern Colombia, an area known for its flat landscape that provides steady and consistent growing conditions. It is a Red Bourbon variety, which is a blend of high-quality beans collected from several local farms. These farms are located at high altitudes, reaching up to 2,100 meters above sea level, which helps the coffee develop its unique flavors of red apple, raspberry, and milk tea.
The production is led by Wilton Benitez, who sources freshly harvested coffee cherries from nearby farmers. He takes them to his modern facility in the town of Piendamo to be processed. There, the coffee undergoes a 36-hour fermentation period before being washed and dried using advanced equipment. This careful process ensures that the final product is of the highest quality before it is packaged and sent to coffee lovers.
